Apostle Ngabo – Overseer, director and Founder of Mindset Media Uganda, and team;
they were at Lake View Entebbe Secondary School, teaching senior one and two about culture.
The topic they taught was about culture, as Apostle Ngabo the founder of Mindset Media Academy said;
Every good thing, (or positive habit) that we practice, and do in a repeated manner (daily, weekly, or on monthly basis etc),
those repeated acts envelops cultural energies that has the ability to generate into products, behaviors, charitable deeds, and practices of services that enhances social development in our communities.
Namukisa Ngabo Brandy (counselor, motivator & assistant) in Mindset Media Academy,
She reminded the students about the cultural norms of respect, honoring of the elders, the different cultural ways of greeting etc….
We are in the 8TH MONTH called “CHESHVAN” on God’s calendar: Started on 2nd November & Ends on 1st DECEMBER 2024
Ap Ngabo continued to say;
Culture has brought to us fashion designs, different styles of music, dance, art Crafts, constructions of buildings, movies, the foods we eat at the restaurants, the cars we drive etc,
All those are practices of cultural traits that have become products in our societies…
Mwanje Avias/ Panado Mindset Media movie Director and teacher of Ethical conduct in MDD,
He also put emphasis on the importance of schools, families, and homes returning back to the practicing of their cultural norms of good manners….
But the contrary is also true;
The negative addictions, or bad habits of drinking alcohol, hate speech, cursing, the negative immoral acts of engaging into sexual activities of fornication,
sexual immorality, homosexuality etc, that also can become one’s culture that he, or she is known by, produces, represents, and also he or she uses such negative manners to be a destructive element to his/her community.
Mindset Media Team is on a mission to restore the Ethical conduct, Godly moral values, positive cultural enorms etc in our schools,
so that the social economical status of our country, community developments, mutual respect in marriages, homes etc may start to formulate and also take shape in our Uganda..
