Luke 4:16
So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
The Sabbath day – 7th day – (being the day that falls on FRIDAY evening), and ENDS on Saturday Night.
Yeshua whom the Christian call Jesus, as His custom was, the word “custom” means;
something He did which was a custom customised (passed down by His ancestors, elders and teachers of the law,
Via the customs of teaching and cultural practices of Judaism),
which was done according to the laws of (Moses, in the order of the Shabbatical and Levitical precepts).
As the custom of keeping the Shabbat was, Yeshua ( the Messiah, known as the Christ) stood up in the synagoug in the order and customs of the law and read the scripture.
Teaching & healing on the Shabbat:
Luke 6:6-12:
6 Now it happened on another Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught.
And a man was there whose right hand was withered…
In Luke 6: Verse 10:
10 And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.
The custom of Shabbat:
Exodus 35:2:
Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh day shall be a holy day for you,
a Sabbath of rest to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.
YESHUA stood up and read from the Torah scroll on the Shabbat….
The Shabbat used by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to sanctify ISRAEL:
Exodus 31:13
“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep,
for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
The apostles were accused of teaching the customs of the Jews to the Romans:
Acts 16:20-21:
20 And they brought them to the magistrates, and said, “These men, being Jews, exceedingly trouble our city (life style);
21 and they teach customs which are not lawful for us, being Romans, to receive or observe.”
Reasoning & discussion held on the Shabbat:
The Shabbat is a time when the spiritual presence of energies (angelic messengers) that enables humanity to reason,
discuss, and communicate via God’s wisdom and revelation is made available by God in mother earth.
Acts 17:2-3
2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,
3 explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead,
and saying, “This Yeshua whom I preach to you is the Christ.”
Acts 16:13:
on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there.
Acts 17:2
Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,
Acts 18:4:
4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.
