Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty (arrogant) spirit before a FALL.
[In other words;
before God declares the fall, destruction, death, inflation) to take over someone’s life, that person will first become proud, arrogant, disrespectful against God’s laws, instruction and sound doctrine]
We are living in perilous times, where the ultimate evil desire of the people wants to show off and feed their negative habits of pride,
and arrogance that pertains to the pursuit of selfish interests of individualism, love of sexual pleasure (fornication, sexual immorality, lack of respect towards God’s commandments), and the love of money.
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed (gone a way) from the faith in their greediness,
and they have pierced themselves through with many SORROWS (Loss of things, worries, death, inflation, unpaid debts, high interest rate, emotional stress etc).

The value of exchange in business, and pursuit for career of success is designed on the desire of selfish gain, the pride and lust of the flesh.
1 John 2:16-17:
