Who was Naomi? =
Naomi was a Jew coming from Israel the country where “Yeshua” whom the Christian call Jesus was born.
Who was Ruth? =
Ruth was a Moabite or a gentile woman.
The word “gentile” means that she was a woman who came from one of the countries that did not serve or believe in the God of Israel,
(the God of Israel being the God of Noami her mother in law).
Naomi returns back to Israel with Ruth:
Ruth decided to return back with Naomi to Israel, that also means that she was ready to forsake (give up) her own pagan god’s,
and family,
and she is then taking a decision to start to believe in the God of Israel where Naomi comes from…
