Carnal mind mening;
Carnal, sensual, fleshly, animalistic, refering to the cravings of the body (lust of the flesh), which are in opposition against rational, Godly attributes, or spiritual aspects of humans.
Romans 8:6-10
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Spiritual mind VS Carnal Mind:
Romans 8:7-8:
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
God’s Spiritual Frequency:
Romans 8:9-10:
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.
Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Yeshua the Christ, he is not His.
10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life (living) because of righteousness.
The carnal mind caters to the appetites, instincts, and impulses of the carnal nature, worldly activities of lust, sexual pleasure attained via fornication, adultry,
the emotional pursuit of competing to be the first, slandering other to get into the first lane, driven by the love of money, greed, profit and selfish gain.
Carnal, although it may refer to the body as opposed to the spirit, often refers to sexual needs or urges (where fornication, adultry, homosexuality, rape, pedophilia, incest, prostitution is practiced):
Carnal cravings, attractions, satisfactions of the flesh, where a person behaviors that are similar to those of an animal concerning the acts of sex, sexual cravings, survivor, hunting for food etc.
The mind of the flesh – with its carnal thoughts and purposes – is hostile to God.
It does not, and cannot, submit itself to God’s Law.
Those who live the life of the flesh are not acceptable to Our Lord (Yeshua), because they are disobedient, proud, rebellious, arrogant, self seeking, not willing to listen to wise instructions etc…
1 Samuel 15:23
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness (disobedience) is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.”
What do I need to do to maintain and sustain God’s spirit (Spiritual mindset), so that I can avoid being carnal minded?
Cultivate an enverionement of;
– Listening to Postive Goldy audible sounds, or voice that feeds your spirit with God’s word,
(Let it be running in your house as a sound wave and vibrating frequency)
– Prayers offered unto God with thanks giving, repentance, intercession, for your self and others in your community
– Keep and Obey God’s instructions via your spiritual covering and moral guidance.
– Have devotional moments dedicated towards bible studying, scripture reading done on a weekly basis…
