When a girl is born in a family, she automatically takes on her father’s last name as the description of her genetic stracture, father’s house and purpose in life.
When the time of giving her a way into marriage comes, she is given a way by her father.
Which leads to the changing of her last name from her father’s name to the husband’s name.
The daughter redeeming and upgrading her father’s name:
Here we can use the scenario of a kingdom;
The kingdom of King decides to give their daughter to another kingdom that is greater than his kingdom,
And him as a king doing this, his agenda is to use his daughter as an exchange that will connect his kingdom into the greatness of the other kingdom…
In the ancient days, this way of giving daughters in marriage was used both in a positive and negative way.
The positive way:
Daughters were given into marriage to go to submit, serve, help, the vision of the kingdom they are married into,
so that they may excel, upgrade, innovate, the limitations of their father’s name and family.
And on the other hand;
This also brought the daughter’s family into the covenant previllages that comes along side her being married into the name of his husdands kingdom.
The negative way:
In the bible;
women like Jazebel were used as instruments of destruction and diversion to hinder Israel from fulfilling its godly purpose.
Female used as weapon of destruction:
Jazebel the Sidonian woman used her spiritual womb and feminine nature to destroy Israel according to the desired requests of Sidon.
Sidon gave Jazebel into marriage to Ahab the king of Israel, and through her,
the king of Israel was diverted from serving the God of Israel,
And his service was replaced by the act of serving the small gods of Sidon via Jazebel.
