The 17th of Tamuz (Tammuz) until the 9th of Av (which falls around June, July early August);
that period of time is an appointed season and strategic time for praying for Israel (Jerusalem):
Psalm 122:6-8 declares:
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
7 Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
8 For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
We are in the 8TH MONTH called “CHESHVAN” on God’s calendar: Started on 2nd November & Ends on 1st DECEMBER 2024
Israel (as Land), and Jerusalem as a City that is the region and location in mother earth that the God of Israel used as His point of Contact into mother earth….
All the miracles that God did through His prophets (servants), biblical testimonies, His word that heals us, makes us rich, redeems us, makes us His children etc,
all these things came to us via the Land (Eretz) of Israel, the Jewish people (Israelites) and the city called Jerusalem.
The Messiah (Yeshua Hamashiac, the Christ, whom some call Jesus) gave His life as a sacrificial Lamb (Sadaka) which led to His death, and resurrection.
He was resurrected by the power of His Father in Heaven, and all this was done so that He may redeem humanity from their sins.
The Messiah that died and resurrected belonged to the people of Israel. He was Born in Bethlehem, which is located in the middle East in Israel…
So to say;
when that physical region (Israel, Jerusalem) part of the world has peace, then its peace and prosperity will also influence all the other different parts (cultures, nations, tongues) of the world in (mother earth).
Zechariah 8:22:
Yes, many peoples and strong nations Shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before the Lord.’
Zechariah 1:17
17 “Again proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts:
“My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The Lord will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem.” ’
Matthew 5:35
Do not swear at all, nor by the earth, for it is His (God’s) footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King…
Notice how God’s word declares in the New testament that;
Jerusalem is the city of the Great King who dwells in Heaven, through whence He rains His blessings, and proclaims His dominion as a KING in mother earth, while using Jerusalem as His principla City.
