Before destruction, a man’s or a woman’s soul is proud (arrogant), and puffed up with self-ego (leaven),

But before someone is promoted, humility or humbleness Goes before him

Don’t be USELESS in a place where  USEFULNESS is required.

Even if you claim your position by entitlement;

God will pluck you out of that place, and plant in it useful people who will bring forth Godly fruit that is required…

Read the book, Esther 2:1-4

where the arrogant Queen called (Vashti) despised her King’s commandments and laws,

And watch and look how her life ended up…

1 Corinthians 5:7-8:

Every position of honor is an office (that requires honesty, humbleness, Faithfulness, Servitude, integrity, unleavened attitude, humbleness etc),

and humans are planted in such offices to serve, and also become useful, so that their Godly purpose may be achieved..
