What is the meaning of the word “Kislev”?
The meaning of Kislev depends upon whom you trust, or security and trust,
so that you may stand up against your conflicts, and also obtain favor from the place of your security and dedication.
To be dedicated and devoted to the one whom you trust…
The month of Kislev has always been associated with much joy and happiness.
The word Kislev has many meanings, Trust and Security, to give charity with a full heart,
teaching us that the best way to realize the joy of our holidays is to share our blessings with others (Chanukah).
Kislev has as part of its name, the word “lev” meaning heart.
It is also thought to mean the season of mud and rain, is one of the rainiest months in Israel.
Kislev is the season of trusting God:
Kislev the 9th month on the Hebrew calendar is a time of trusting,
leaning, learning and willing to take instructions from the place of your security, mentor or spiritual guidance.
God is our banner of protection:
The time when the God of Israel becomes our military strategy of prayer,
defence, protection and weapons of spiritual warfare…
But on the other side of the coin;
this month is also a time of being confronted by conflicts, warfares,
propaganda, antisemitism, terrors of fear, Norovirus, seismic waves, etc,
coming from the place of intimidation, chemical reaction, concepts that uphold the doctrine of Nicolaitans,
And the negative forces or energies which becomes an influence that makes people lose their confidence,
become insecure, confronted with emotional feelings of doubt during the season of winter or December.
A time of spiritual warfare:
Kislev is also known as the month of birth pangs (dark troubles, a season of travailing).
The season when the dark forces of darkness that haunt, acts of terror, fear, terrorism, racism, antisemitism, accidents,
extreme selfish ambitions of creditors, love of money, evil traders of Christmas (Saturnalia),
ascends from the womb (abyss, belly) of the earth to come to trouble the sons and daughters of men who dwell in the earth.
A time of biological changes:
This month also is the time when the members of the human body vomit,
goes to war, or begins to reject and resist the negative chemicals deriving from biological warfare,
Aerosolization, genetic modification, and environmental energies that contain aerosol which can cause harm to the body.
The month of Kislev is also a season when those who have totally depended upon God’s grace, enter into a time frame of finding favor,
winning the spiritual battles, overcoming fear,
Giving birth or bringing forth their spiritual promises via the festival of Chanukah (becoming the light of the world).
Why is this month called “Kislev” referred to as the month of giving birth?
Because Kislev is the 9th month when you count from Passover (Passover which represents conception),
Which falls in the 1st month on God’s calendar.
When you count from Nisan – the 1st month on God’s calendar (celebration of Passover),
to Kislev (celebration of Chanukah) that falls in the 9th month,
Then the 9th month (Kislev) is the month of birth pangs or giving birth.
When does this month occur according to the Gregorian calendar?
The month of Kislev falls around November or December.
Kislev stands for the son of Jacob called Benjamin and the Zodiac sign of this month is Sagittarius,
This month also represents the military system.
