As I stand beside lake Victoria, Here I can feel the soft breeze that blows at the shores of the lake….
I live in a country called Uganda, where the colors (black, Yellow, and Red) on our flag tell story about our country that is defined through those colors…
Black stands for;
the African peoples with a (melanin, black skin),
Yellow stands for;
Africa’s sunshine, and the energy of life the SUN represents as it shines over Africa (Uganda)
And Red stands for;
African brotherhood (red being the colour of blood, through which all Africans are connected).
