These are people who have gained intellectual knowledge to pursue after money & material achievements:
2 Timothy 3:1-7
Perilous Times and Perilous Men
3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money,
boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.
And from such people turn away!
6 For of this sort are those who creep into households
and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
For the love of money, the pursuit of material things and selfish ambitions,
people do study, learn, invest their time in doing google research and internet learning,
But still there is something that goes going wrong with their learning & studying,
and what is that?
2 Timothy 3:7
always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Now; this could be an intellectual fool saying this:
Psalm 14:1
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.
Wisdom comes to those who love God and study His word via that context of loving Him,
And throuh the love of God they also passionetly keep His commandments:
Psalm 111:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His commandments.
His praise endures forever.
Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
