Marriage counsel;

Preparing for something bad to happen before it occurs – Liken unto how someone who saves money (in his savings account) for a rainy day,

So it is with a spouse in marriage who tells his partner that;

I have realised that you can not take care of me when I get sick, so I am looking for friends who can take care of me incase if I get sick.

Sicknesses, bad fortunes, curses, and bad things happen to us because of the ungodly covenants, familiar relationships that we have with such enviroments, and the vows we make when we are under the influence of such frequeincies, and energies.

We are in the 8TH MONTH called “CHESHVAN” on God’s calendar: Started on 2nd November & Ends on 1st DECEMBER 2024

If someone has to prove to you that he loves you, by you having to fall sick first so that you may discover that love,

then sickness will always keep knocking at your door, so that you can find fault in your spouse.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion (with a baggage of sicknesses, curses, troubles etc), seeking whom he may devour.

And on the other hand;

You should remember that  sickness is a spirit and an evil energy roaming around in AIR looking for who will befriend it.

So do not become a friend with sickness and make your spouse an enemy.

Question;

Does that me that if you love someone; then one should not get sick?

No! what I mean is that;

Let your love or marriage be a reflection of having faith in God, trusting in God’s promises concerning health, living to please God,

not allowing the negative energies, deceptions, curses, sicknesses, and forces of the world to interfere with that .

Even when we are a sick, there are things we need to do to get well, and some times we need to do God’s will in our lives, inspite of how we feel…

The example I can give is;

A man of God goes to pray for other people to get well, when he himself has left a sick child in his home….

Or God could be using you to heal others, yet when you yourself You are still struggling with a sickness that God has not healed yet ..

Appreciate the good that God has done, and believe that God will do a lot using your partner, and do not condem your spouse’s effort using a sickness that has not yet taken place in your life.
