Eretz (Hebrew: ארץ) is Hebrew for “land”, “country” (with the definite article, HaAretz (Hebrew: הארץ, “the land”) In particular, it may refer to:
HaAretz HaMuvtahat, the “Promised Land” Eretz Israel, the Land of Israel
Abraham the father of Ham, Ham being Cush (black skin), the descendants of Noah that settled in Africa.
In Genesis 15:13-17 – Lech Lecha
After God showing Abraham the vision of 400 hundred years of Slavery in Genesis 15:13-17,
and declaring its finishing point after 400 years have passed,
God went further and made a covenant with Abraham;
Where Abraham was given the land that belongs to the continent of Africa through which the River Nile makes its path.
