Ruach shtut (spirit of foolishness), which means “an irrational force,

or negative energy which can make normal people to be overtaken (hijacked) by the Spirit of foolishness.

1 Corntians 2:10:

“…for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

The Spirit of foolishness;

This is not just plain foolishness we are all capable of, but one that can override our better judgment.

It’s as if an irrational force grabs us, and we get lost in it.

This combination creates a dangerous situation when it comes to men and women hanging out together.

It entertains the emotional signals of sensual feelings, sexual desires, seductive expressions, and fantasies which can take place between a male and female.

Due to fact that humans are carriers of energies, and our existence in mother earth keeps on sending signals of energies (vibrations, chemistry),

deriving from our ourselves (intetions, thoughts, desires, fantancies, imaginations, emotions, desire to be close, enjoy another person’s presence, wanting to feel a sense of touch etc),

and aiming at the things that seduces, impresses, excites, and are sexually attractive to us;

In settings where female and male has the liberty, or (opportunity, democratic free expression) of being close to each other,

Such settings can arouse the ruach shtut (the Spirit of foolishness).

And when given a chance to exchange, (communicate frequently share secrets, chat all the time on social media, phone callings etc),

In the dot com age (era of internet);

People share erotic images, love songs, love ecards, engage in cyber sex, flirt with each via social media etc,

Yet when some of them are in a committed relationship of marriage.

Activities of that sort can activate and put the Spirit of foolishness into the psychological status of sensual fantasies,

and desires that can eventually claim the upgrade of touching, feeling and acting out.

Maybe you’ve heard stories about normally wise men and women from good marriages breaking trust with their spouse,

so that to indulge in a dream/fantasy that falls apart immediately when exposed.

Often, they do not understand what they were thinking to have engaged in this sort of behavior;

they broke all integrity, by being taken over by a lustful craving sexual passion, which turned them into another person.

They will admit that they may not even understand what change came over them.

The Torah (God’s word) the blueprint of life, warns us about this, and has laws regarding friendliness between men and women that are written down to protect us.

Matthew 5:28

But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

One should avoid being in private settings with a female or male where one feels like he,

or she is being put into the risk zone of flirting, overriden by uncontrolable sexual fantacies,

Pushed into a corner of temptation;

being with someone who is always sending signals, or gestures of seduction,

sexual harassments, words and behaviors where a person is always flirting, sexually complimenting one’s body parts with the aim to entice etc.

Such social environments that can make you violet the trust of your marriage, or spouse, you should avoid, rebuke, or stay a way from.

An example is the laws of Yichud in which an unmarried man and woman cannot be secluded together in a private settings.
