Real aspiring leaders do not discuss people,
They discuss issues.
The purpose of a discussion:
The discussions of aspiring leadership are held for the sake of finding positive solutions to these issues or challenges that people are going through.
Avoid emotional discussions:
Gossipers, back biters, bad news reporters, selfish ambitious individuals, fault finding type of people will always discuss people,
Engaging in discussions that stimulate negative emotions,
using other people’s misfortunes and challenges to condemn, to disqualify, to speak evil, to assassinate the people they discuss.
Be wise in your discussions:
A wise man’s tongue finds parables and narrated stories to use,
while discussing a problem that a person they are speaking about is going through.
They will discuss the issue, in a way that inspires others to overcome the same challenge,
but they refuse to put the person’s personal problem in exposal ( or on social media) for everybody –
by pointing a finger or using his name to directly assassinate his character, via the act of talking about the person.
I guess now you are starting to understand why wise people always use parables and stories to address issues.
Because they are always protecting the characters behind these stories by discussing the issue in a parable form, and not the person..
And remember that;
problems and challenges in life are always moving from one house to another house,
And how we discuss and deal with them determines the upgrade or downfall of that house,
But on the other hand;
it puts the person who is carrying the gossip from one place to another, to become a condemned character,
and spiritually disqualified and judged (or cursed, bringing misfortune) in one’s life using his or her own words before God.
