we also took some beautiful pictures of the Baffaloes…
A buffalo is believed to be a cross of an ox and a cow, it is a verge huge African bovine and among the big five animals.
They spend their time doing mud-wallows to reduce their body temperature.
The mud also helps buffalo to get rid of ticks and parasites that latch onto their skin,
the thick layer of mud helps them stay cool by blocking the sun’s rays and acting as a natural insulator.
An African buffalo is also known as a cape buffalo, it has thick horns, and its one of the best animals you can see on your Safari in Uganda.
