Bethleme in Israel is always a very busy city, but the 25th of December 2023, there has been no Christma celebration this time, because of the war.
As its busiest season of the year, Bethlehem comes to life with light and color.
The Old City of Bethlehem’s transformation into a Winter Wonderland is a site to be seen!
The streets are lined with tinsel, lights and of course, Christmas trees and Santa Clause along with Christmas Markets and a Christmas Parade,
but this time around, December of 2023; Christmas has been quiet, silent streets, no tourists, and the noise made by Christmas celebrations were not heard at all…
Could it be that;
as Israel is fighting to get rid of the occupation of Hamas from their land, there are also getting rid of the pagan festivals (like Christmas) which have been claiming ground in the land?
The date (25th of december) when the Christians claim that Jesus was born, has always been a pagan celebration that honored the birth of the pagan Sun god, the evil men like Nimrod who was born the 25th of December etc…
