What is the meaning of the word attribute as a noun? 

It means –

quality or feature regarded as a characteristic, attributed qualities or positive inherent part of someone or something.

Attributes –

That which is bestowed or attributed into someone’s life via God’s oracle, grace, incarnation, wisdom or anointing.

That which is passed down from the moral genetic order of a godly father,

and transacted via the lineage of inheritance into the structure of his family, tribe, culture, clan or community.

These a tributes becomes one’s duty…

Attributes like;

Devotion, Love, generosity, being authentic, patience, forgiveness, kindness, goodness, integrity, wisdom, understanding, faithfulness,

benevolent, sincere, honest, submissiveness, understanding, loyal,

a Tsadiq who lives a righteous sacrificial life of giving Sadakah on Hashem’s Altar….

truthful, trustworthy, obedience, dependable, humbleness,

Galatians 5:22-23:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such, there is no law.

The attributes being the attributed (that which is given) and inherited cultural behaviors,

or cultivated traits, which one uses in the art of exchange,

and the barter trading of the positive morals traits that sustains his or her father’s inheritance.

Samuel anointed David as a king in 1 Samuel 16:1…

Prophet Samuel attributed David by anointing (inaguaratng) him,

so that he may withstand and overcome the envy of king Saul.

Via the anointing David was attributed with the access of taping into the attributes,

that will enabled him to reach the status of his calling as as king.

Attribute –

That which is ascribed, bestowed, given via ordination, inauguration, prophetic oracle,

anointing, qualification, blessing, or attributed upon someone,

given angelic guidance as one’s character is in obedience towards God’s commandments,

which will finally become the characteristics, cloud of covering,

spiritual covering, the leading of God’s Holy Spirit or qualities that describe one’s nature.

<His attitude of respect towards the elders,

and his leaders has enabled him to attain the attributes of patience, humbleness, and understanding>

<His inauguration, anointing, incarnation, and ordination as a king,

has brought out the values of royalty, sovereignty, and kingship in him>.

Adam attributed his helpmate with the attributes of womanhood:

Genesis 2:22-23:

22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man,

He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

23 And Adam said:

“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called
Woman,

Because she was taken out of Man.”

Adam attributed the beasts of the field via incarnation,

& turned them into positive living creatures:

Genesis 2:19:

19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air,

and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them.

And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.

Caliber:

property, capacity, quality, attribute, qualification, trait.

<The training that she took has made her into a more tolerant, patient and understanding person>.

<God has blessed and bestowed upon her the positive moral values of a virtious woman>.

The opposite or the opposition of:

The opposite of “attribute” is “emotion“.
