Shemot (Exodus) Chapter 18

Parshat Yitro

Exodus 18:21;

21 But you shall choose out of the entire nation men of SUBSTANCE (Men of Faith), God fearers, men of truth, who hate monetary gain,

and you shall APPOINT over them [Israel] leaders over thousands, leaders over hundreds, leaders over fifties, and leaders over tens.

To solve the economic crisis, community challenges, climate changes, disputes, conflicts among groups of people, and the distructions (corrupted, blocking methods) that hinders progress in our societies,

We must start with electing, supporting, and acting upon the positioning (putting) good leaders in our cultural activities of barter exchange, social activities, homes, families, and services, who will play the role of cultivating Community developments in our Regions…

We are in the 8TH MONTH called “CHESHVAN” on God’s calendar: Started on 2nd November & Ends on 1st DECEMBER 2024

Genesis 41:33- 38:

33 So now, let Pharaoh seek out an understanding and wise man (governor) and appoint him over the land of Egypt.

34 Let Pharaoh do [this] and appoint officials over the land and prepare the land of Egypt during the seven years of plenty.

35 And let them collect all the food of these coming good years, and let them gather the grain under Pharaoh’s hand, food in the cities, and keep it.

36 Thus the food will remain as a reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which will be in the land of Egypt, so that the land will not be destroyed by the famine.”

What caused the famine in Egypt?

Famine was the status of malfuction (disorder, dysfunctional, mental and emotional corruption, incompetence) that confronted Egypt because of the evil leadership of Immorality, lack of honesty, intergrity, and lack of Godly values which structured Egypt…

Leviticus 18:24-25:

24 ‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things (evil deeds); for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you.

25 For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants.

Leviticus 19:29:

29 ‘Do not prostitute your daughter, to cause her to be a harlot, lest the land fall into harlotry (tourism that promotes prostitution),

and the land become full of wickedness (land taken over by evil spirits, demons, violence, poverty, human trafficking etc).

Leviticus 20:22

‘You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.

After a period of time this evil mismanagement of leadership turned into climate change, famine, the corrupting of the cosmic environment etc,

which made nature to go into a mode of oppossing, reacting (global warmings, floods, storms, dryness), being affected by seismic effect, and vomiting out the evil formular in which things were done in Egypt..

Genesis 41:37:

37 The matter pleased Pharaoh and all his servants.

38 So Pharaoh said to his servants, “Will we find [anyone] like this, a man in whom there is the spirit of God?”

Genesis 41:39-40:

39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.

40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”
