Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid,

nor be dismayed (discouraged), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Deuteronomy 1:21

Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it,

as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’

Isaiah 42:4

He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth;

And the coastlands shall wait for His law.

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear,

because fear involves torment (worries, discouragment, horror dreams, emotional stress, fear for pending danger, cares of the world etc),

But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

Matthew 13:22

Now he who received seed (God’s word) among the thorns is he who hears the word,

and the cares (worries) of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke (discourage) the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

Hebrews 12:3

The Discipline of God

For consider Him (Christ – Yeshua) who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself,

lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

The one’s that God loves, He correctes, rebukes and disciplines:

Hebrews 12:5

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son,

do not despise the chastening (disciplining) of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
