Abraham was the man that God used to restore the faith in God; back into the world.

The faith in God which was lost during the fall of Adam,

until the time frame when God decided to call Abraham out of his father’s house, so that he may serve the true living God,

That was the turning point in history which unleashed God’s faith back into the world.

Genesis 12:1-5

12 Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house,

To a land that I will show you.

2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you;

And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram.

What is the meaning of the name Abraham,? 

Abraham’s name was changed from Abram to Abraham.

Abram means = A man of great intellect

And Abra-ham means = a father of many nations (father of Ham).

From Abraham comes forth these 4 religions:

1 The religion of Judaism – (Son of Abraham called “Isaac” – brought forth by Sarah)

2: The  religion of Hinduism – (Sons of Abraham birthed forth by Keturah)

3: The religion of Christianity (Spiritual inheritance of Abraham called – “Yeshua” birthed forth by Merry)

4: And the religion of Islam – (Son of Abraham called “Ishmael” – birthed forth by Hagar)

Abraham’s Faith in God is Confirmed:

Genesis 22:1-2:

22 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!”

And he said, “Here I am.”

2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love,

and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”

Abraham’s obedience is rewarded:

Genesis 22:16-18:

16 and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing,

and have not withheld your son, your only son— 17 blessing I will bless you,

and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore;

and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

The King of Righteousness exchanges wine,

and the declaration of blessing into Abraham’s life,

& Abraham gives His tithe in return:

Hebrews 7:1-5:

7 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God,

who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

2 to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem,

meaning “king of peace,” 3 without father, without mother, without genealogy,

having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.

4 Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils.

5 And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood,

have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law,

that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham;
