The word season in a biblical and Hebrew context means;
The time frame that God ordained and constituted as a season of harvesting,
And at the same time this also becomes the season when Israel was commanded to bring their tithes, first fruits, offerings, etc to God’s altar or temple.
In Hebrew this word season means “Moadim“.
The Hebrew word “Moadim” roots from the word called; Feast or to have an appointment or appointed time.
Deuteronomy 16:16:
“Three times in a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses:
And these 3 times when the male had to appear before the God of Israel used to fall in those seasons of His appointed times.
Deuteronomy 16:16:
at the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover) ,
at the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost),
and at the Feast of Tabernacles (the feasts which fall in the 7 month on God’s calendar);
and the male shall not appear before the Lord empty–handed.
Moadim is God’s appointed time on His calendar, where man and God meet at the altar of exchange.
(Man brings his offering, sadakah or karbon, and God brings His Holy presence).
God’s seasons (holy feasts or holy Sabbaths) on God’s Hebrew calendar,
fall in the season that coincides with the 4 seasons that take place in the Earth annually.
In Springtime = we come into God’s appointed time called Passover.
In summertime = we come into a season called “Pentecost“.
In Autumn = we come into the season called Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement),
and Sukkot, which is the feast of Tabernacle which falls in the 7th month on God’s calendar.
In Wintertime = we come into the season called “Chanukah“,
which falls in the 9th month called Kislev on God’s calendar.
And in every month that we come into on God’s calendar,
there is a beginning of each month called New moon, and the mid-time of each month known as “full moon“.
And the seasons of New moon, full moon and the 7th day (which is the Shabbat) on God’s calendar,
These are also Moadim (appointed times) on the Hebrew calendar,
when the Holy presence or energies of the God of Israel descends down into the Earth to be a blessing to His people calendar.
