Omer counting day 6.
Bonding – Love (the bonding/foundation/connection side of love) Yesod – Chesed in Hebrew.
In love, there are moments of bonding and connecting with the ones we love,
and these moments come to us in unexpected ways, because the character of love has the ability to discern how to seize the moment of bonding and connecting.
Everything you are good at doing must also become something that you are willing to give up,
to surrender and to offer as a sacrifice in the time when the love of God for others requires it.
Ask yourself:
Am I always insisting on doing the things I love even when I am in the company of the people that I love?
Am I the type of person that always wants to be in control of things and never allow those close to me to express their opinions?
Because to bond and connect, or to be able to take place in a relationship, there must be liberty of allowing self-expression of ideas, opinion,
and interests from all the members in the relationship, so that you may not end up doing only the things that you are interested in.
Exercise of the day:
Do something constructive together with the ones you love.
