The 40 Day of seeking God, is God’s breath (Tabernacle) descending down into man from God:

The 40 days of seeking God starts exactly on the new moon (first day) of the sixth month called Elul on God’s calendar.

God breathed His breath into Adam’s body:
On the 1st day of Elul God breathed the breath of “Life” into the body of Adam,
and that breathe which God had breathed into Adam’s temple (Loins) contained the architect of His tabernacle in within it.
The 40 days divided up into 4 Tens:
The 40 days of answered prayers are divided up into 4 tens.
= The 1st ten days (from 1 to 10) days of our fasting:
The 1st ten days deal with the Outer courtyard of God’s Tabernacle.
= from (10 to 20) days into our fasting
The 2nd ten deals with the 7 branch lampstand in God’s Tabernacle.
= from (20 to 30) days into our fasting:
The 3rd ten deals with the Showbread table, and the Incense Altar of prayer which was located in the Tabernacle.
= (30 to 40) days into our fasting:
And the 4th ten deals with the Most Holy place where the Ark of the covenant was kept, (being The 10 Days of Awe).
