When the obedience of a righteous leader is anointed, walking in obedience with God’s will for its purpose in life,
That is when the disobedient evil leadership is confronted & rejected by God….
Samuel Anoints David:
1 Samuel 16:1
The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel?
What does it mean to be rejected by God?
1 Samuel 16:14:
[ A Distressing Spirit Troubles Saul ]
But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul and a distressing spirit
(of confusion, evil or bad Omen, mental illness, emotional stress, misfortune, bad lack,
severe headache, depression, a sense of self quilt, disapproval, conviction, lack of God’s favor, etc) from the Lord troubled him.
Psalm 78:50
He made a path for His anger;
He did not spare their soul from death, But gave their life over to the plague (famine, poverty, disgrace, mental confusion, struggle, misfortune, bad omen, hassle, curses, bad luck,
reproach, defeat, Slavery, debt boundage, selling themselves out for the love and greed for money etc)
Romans 5:19:
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience, many will be made righteous.
2 Corinthians 10:6:
.. and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
Prophet Samuel Anoints David as king of Israel:
1 Samuel 1:16…
Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem.
I have chosen one of his sons to be king.”
The Holy Spirit of God falls upon David after Samuel had finished anointing him:
David is attributed with a godly responsibility of obedience and servitude:
1 Samuel 16:13:
So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers,
and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David.
Samuel then went to Ramah.
The elders of Israel accepts, goes into a collective agreement,
and anoints David as their king at Hebron:
1 Chronicles 11:3:
When all the elders of Israel had come to King David at Hebron,
he made a covenant with them at Hebron before the Lord,
and they anointed David king over Israel, as the Lord had promised through Samuel.
